Charles Stix*

Charles Stix was born in Cincinnati in 1925. After graduating from Walnut Hills High School, he enlisted in the Marines, where he served proudly from 1943-1946. He later had a successful career in business, primarily at U.S. Shoe, and later founding his own company, STIXCO, also in the shoe and boot industry. Charles was deeply involved in community activities. A past president of the Jewish Community Center, he also served in leadership positions for the Jewish Federation and Jewish Hospital. Charles is most proud of his four children and seven grandchildren—and particularly for bringing these four beautiful people into the world who have built good lives for themselves and their own children.
