Anita and Henry Schneider
Hank was born in Germany, where his parents met during the Holocaust. They emigrating to Cincinnati and his parents struggled to build a new life here. The help they received from Jewish Family Service and the community as a whole made a strong impression on Hank, who thinks of the whole community as his family. Anita was born and raised in Cincinnati, where her parents were involved in the community and set an example for the importance of helping others. Hank and Anita met in high school and married later in life and have been active and generous members and volunteers in the Jewish community. They hope their children, grandchildren, and future generations will continue their legacy.
