The Corky and Ellen* Steiner Family

Al, Phil and Joe Steiner, founders of Kenner Toys in 1946 grew the company from Kenner Street to Wall Street. When General Mills acquired the company in 1967, this began an era of Steiner family philanthropy within the Cincinnati community. Cork and Rick followed their father Phil’s philanthropic commitments and have continued their philanthropy throughout their lives. Rick went on to become a very successful Broadway producer spanning over 30 years and Cork was a meaningful contributor for over 33 years with Kenner Toys in Cincinnati.
