Harold and Sonya Margolin*

Harold was born in Iowa and grew up in Nebraska. He met Sonny in New York City where he was completing his training as a radiologist and she was a nurse. They moved to Cincinnati, where Harold became Head of Radiology at Jewish Hospital and Sonya a radiation oncology nurse at University Hospital. Sonya grew up in a secular Jewish environment, but became interested in Judaism after meeting Harold, moving to Cincinnati and starting a family. They were both deeply involved in the Jewish community. Harold and Sonya had three daughters and four grandchildren. Their commitment to medicine, Jewish education, and family was deep, heartfelt, and meaningful.
