Howard and Marlene Mayers
After growing up in the South Avondale and Bond Hill neighborhoods, Howard met his bride, Marlene, at the University of Cincinnati. They raised three children here and built a home grounded in Judaism. Howard learned electrical contracting from his father and continues the family business, Mayers Electric. From their parents, they inherited the importance of charitable giving and community volunteerism. The Mayers have enjoyed their continued involvement in their synagogue and with Rockwern Academy, Cincinnati Hebrew Day School, the JCC and their alma mater’s Hillel. They derive joy from seeing the next generation of Jewish Cincinnatians thriving and hope their legacy will provide for the community’s continued growth.
