Murray Jaffe
Murray Jaffe was born in Cincinnati in 1926. He served in the Korean War, and led a distinguished career as a surgeon at the Jewish Hospital. A brilliant student, Murray was in medical school by the age of 17. He left to serve in the Navy, but finished his training upon his return. He and his late wife, Margery, raised three children. Murray always had a passion for art, music, and travel. With great enthusiasm, he took up running in his 50's and credits his dedication to exercise for his longevity. The Jewish community always has been important to Murray, and he hopes that his legacy gift will benefit the Jewish community for many years to come.
