Robert and Maryann* Betagole
Bob is a native of Cincinnati and grew up in the Avondale neighborhood during the Great Depression. His parents met while his mother, also a native Cincinnatian, was in nursing school at the Jewish Hospital and his father, a physician, was interning there. Maryann was born here, as well. They were born only days apart and attended school together in Avondale. Growing up and seeing others in need has continued to motivate them to be active in the community and to give generously. Their children have followed their example and they are also involved in supporting the Jewish community of Cincinnati. Bob and Maryann hope that their legacy gifts will inspire future generations.
