Steven and Julie Shifman
Steve Shifman grew up in the small town of Springfield, Ohio, where he remembers his family’s constant involvement in Judaism and the wider community. Inspired by her mother, who poured her energy into philanthropic work in Cincinnati, where she was raised, Julie learned the importance of giving at a young age. Julie and Steve pursued their diverse talents in their early years, she as a dancer in the Cincinnati Ballet and he as a ski instructor in Aspen. When they settled down in Cincinnati, they consciously became leaders in the Jewish community and Greater Cincinnati community. The Shifmans hope their volunteerism and legacy giving has made a difference and that they have taught their four sons the importance of helping others.
