Wilbur* and Miriam Cohen
Raised in a family with modest means, Wilbur’s parents shared whatever they could, which made a lasting impression. After considerable success in his business, he has given generously in Cincinnati and his hometown Middletown. He and his former wife Mary Jean, together for 62 years, established a foundation that will continue their giving in perpetuity. Their children continue this family legacy. Miriam’s mother was influential in teaching Miriam the joy of giving. Notably, Miriam and her former husband set up the Warshauer Fund at Adath Israel to provide meals to families in crisis. Wilbur and Miriam met at Cedar Village, and together continue to give of their time and resources to the Cincinnati Jewish community.
