Jewish Federation of Cincinnati

Numerous Jewish charities and benevolent societies served the community int eh late 1800s. In 1896, eight of Cincinnati’s Jewish charities combined their efforts and became the United Jewish Charities. Later, this organization became the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, the second oldest Jewish charitable federation in the U.S. Today, the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati mobilizes resources from thousands of individual donors to solve complex societal challenges and meet critical needs.
