Feiberg and Workum Whiskey Distillery

Julius Friedberg and Levi J. Workum established a Distillery at the height of Cincinnati's growth in 1855. One year later they became brothers-in-law when Friedberg married Workums sister Duffie. Their business rapidly grew into the largest producer and merchandiser of whiskey in Ohio and Kentucky representing more than 25 Brands. The firm had robust sales until prohibition put the firm out of business in 1919.
