Frank Family
Jacob Frank ended his career as a traveling salesman in 1898 and partnered with his brothers, Emil and Charles, to open Frank's spice and Tea Company in Cincinnati. Their First Innovation was to sell ready-to-use ground spices and small tenants rather than as loose bulk items. Today, the company is better known for its Flagship product, Frank's Hot Sauce, first bottled in 1929 after Jacob traveled to Louisiana to learn how to make hot sauce with cayenne pepper.
