The Israelite
Isaac M. Wise founded the newspaper The Israelite (now American Israelite) in 1854 as a primary source framing Jewish intellectual thought. Still publishing in Cincinnati today, this weekly newspaper is the longest-running English-language Jewish newspaper in the United States.
