HUC merges with JIR

Hebrew Union College merged with the Jewish Institute of Religion, creating a New York presence for the combined institution.

The dedication of campuses in Los Angeles and Jerusalem elevated the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) to international stature and has aided the advancement of Reform Judaism and Jewish academia.
