The LaSalle Quartet

Henry Meyer, a survivor of Auschwitz, formed the LaSalle Quartet in 1949 with fellow student musicians at The Julliard School. After serving as quartet-in-residence at Colorado College, the group moved to the University of Cincinnati. Henry Meyer was a professor at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music for more than 25 years. During that time, the LaSalle Quartet gained international recognition in the classical music world.
